Multinet - Assistant Manager Legal Affairs Karachi

Job Description:
The candidate will be stationed in Karachi and responsible to manage legal function to identify, evaluate and mitigate legal risk and ensure company compliance to prudential regulations and direct internal policy development and implementation.
 

Major Accountabilities

  • Negotiate and draft contracts with vendors and corporate customers.
  • Supervise litigation and coordinate with external counsel to review legal pleadings and strategy.
  • Manage alternative legal dispute resolution with various third parties.
  • Support investigation activities and perform legal analysis, interpretation and reporting relating to market rules and regulations.
  • Supervise litigation and coordinate with external counsel to review legal pleadings and strategy.
  • Track relevant legislation, legal guidelines and court rulings that may impact the industry or pending litigation.

Required Qualification, Skills & Competencies
The candidate should at least be a Bachelors degree holder in Law with a minimum of 3 years experience of Corporate Law.
