IRC Organizational Development Manager Gilgit


Organizational Development Manager will be part of the regional grants team.  The Organizational Development Manager will report to Grants Coordinator. The role of the Organizational Development Manager shall include but not limited to the following:








  • Responsible for offering continuous and targeted capacity building to all grantee organizations.

  • S/he must possess sound understanding and capability to empower and develop the capacity of  both regional and sub-national level NGOs and CSOs

  • Conduct needs assessments of local partner organizations

  • Based on need assessments develop tools and trainings, and provide coaching as appropriate

  • Develop and implement capacity building strategies to strengthen organizational capacity in areas such as Procurement, Finance, HR, Management, Proposal drafting, M&E and etc

  • S/he must possess the ability to provide technical assistance, one-on-one mentoring and small group training sessions.

  • Capacity building of grantee organizations in developing community linkages, as well as strengthening synergies with other relevant programs if any

  • Generate grant applications from community organizations

  • Work closely with the Grants Manager/Grants Coordinator to address any issues regarding Grant Management

  • Manages external relations by representing the project and the organization in the public and ensuring the distribution of information about project achievements and lesson learned

  • Any other task assigned by management.

Qualification & Skills

  • Masters Degree in Business Management, Organizational Development or any other relevant discipline.

  • 3-5 years of experience in organizational development

  • Prior experience of working with international donors, preferably USAID

  • Prior experience of working with Community based organizations

  • Willingness to travel extensively in region

  • Excellent communication skills in English, Urdu and local language of the region

  • Good reporting skills both verbal and written. Familiarity with reporting requirements of USAID will be an advantage

  • Abilities to coordinate well with diverse individuals and teams and to negotiate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve results
